Can I connect standard Ethernet devices to a Powerlink system?
Yes using an EPL Gateway / Router. This is a special version of traditional router technology which behaves as a controlled node on a Powerlink network and as a standard router on the Ethernet side. This device will allow standard Ethernet message formats such as TCP and UDP to be exchanged between the company network and the Powerlink system.
