What is the maximum distance between any two devices?
Powerlink is based on standard Ethernet physics. The normal being Cat5e shielded twisted pair cable which, with careful installation can be used up to 100m between devices. Powerlink hubs can be used to extend this distance or alternatively fibre optics could be used. Hubs used in Powerlink networks should conform to the Powerlink requirements of level 2 hubs for real time industrial use.
