KVTIME is used to set the time constant of a low pass filter, applied to measured speed.
In a few applications it is useful to be able to filter the measured speed signal derived from the feedback device. KVTIME sets the time constant of this filter in milliseconds. In addition to speed reported by the ENCODERVEL,VEL or SPEEDMEASURED keywords, the filtered speed value is used by the velocity feedback term KVEL, in the position controller and as the feedback signal in the speed controller. Note that setting KVTIME value to high can make the drive difficult to tune.
