 e100 Ethernet Motion Products
The e100 Ethernet Powerlink Router provides convenient networking access to Baldor Mint motion systems utilising the real-time Ethernet protocol, Ethernet POWERLINK (EPL).
The EPL router operates in similar manner to any normal Ethernet router on its non-real-time Ethernet port. A second port behaves in accordance to Ethernet Powerlink specification for EPL router devices. Thsi then provides a secure emans of connecting a standard ethernet network to a real-time Powerlink system.
Remote Access, Connection to Factory Network or Simply a PC HMI Connection
The device allows a standard Ethernet network, such as a factory information network, to be connected to a POWERLINK system for data access, such as data exchange for visualisation and control, or remote access for maintenance and diagnostics.
Network Addres Translation and Firewall
Network Address Translation (NAT) allows public IP addresses to match the factory network to be configured for EPL devices such as drives, via a simple HTML interface. Thsi combined with integrated FIREWALL provide security for unauthorised access.
