Baldor Electric Company, headquartered in Fort Smith, Arkansas, designs, manufactures, and markets a broad line of industrial energy-efficient electric motors, mechanical power transmission products, adjustable speed drives, linear motors, motion control products, gear products, industrial grinders and generators.

With the acquisition of Reliance Electric and DODGE, Baldor is now the largest motor and power transmission company in North America and the second largest worldwide. Baldor•Reliance motor products now range from 0.015kW (1/50 horsepower) through 11,000kW (15,000 horsepower). Dodge power transmission products include engineered mounted bearings, enclosed gear products, pulley and coupling products, which greatly enhance Baldor’s current product line.

Industrial Motors and Drives

Baldor offer a wide range of motors and drives to cater for diverse customer needs. Our primary products are industrial AC and DC electric motors, ranging in power from 0.015kW (1/50HP) to 11000kW (15000HP). Our 'Super-E' motors are optimised for efficiency, ensuring the lowest operating costs for the customer. We also offer broad lines of brake-motors, explosion-proof, C-face, pump-motors and gear-motors to provide solutions for any purpose or environment.

Baldor can offer custom motors to meet specific requirements. Custom motors are manufactured to the shortest lead times in the industry.

The adjustable speed drives range includes AC inverters and vector controls, DC SCR controls, servos and positioning products. For optimal performance, We offer 'matched performance' capability; matching motor and control packages to suit the customer's needs.
