Betech 2000 wins Distributor of the Year award from Baldor UK

* seventh consecutive year of winning!

Bristol, UK, February 4, 2005 ... Baldor UK has announced that Betech 2000 Ltd has won its prestigious Distributor of the Year award for outstanding sales performance in 2004. The award is presented to the UK distributor that achieves the highest sales figures for the year.

This is the seventh consecutive year that Betech 2000 has won the award, which says much for the company's consistent sales efforts and commitment to customer service. "We are delighted to win this award from Baldor yet again", says Chris Benson, Managing Director of Betech 2000. "Our sales performance clearly demonstrates that our strategy of putting customers first pays long term dividends. Back in July last year we moved to much larger premises, which has enabled us to increase our stock holding significantly and further accelerate order fulfilment. Our sales team now operates from a large purpose-designed office, and we continue to invest heavily in the latest automated order processing and tracking systems to help speed our customer response. The system automatically recognises customers' telephone numbers and instantly places all relevant information on-screen, allowing any member of the sales team to respond to the enquiry quickly and knowledgeably."
